Supporting Tomorrow’s Leaders

ATCO is proud to be supporting students from First Nation, Métis and Inuit communities in their quest for education.

ATCO recognizes the systemic barriers and different challenges Indigenous students face in their pursuit for higher education. Regardless of your field of study, ATCO’s IEA Program is designed to support students who are dedicated to their educational journey, maintaining a balanced lifestyle and being positive role models in their communities and schools.

Eligibility

  • Identifies as First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples of Canada (Aboriginal) who are the original inhabitants of the land that is now Canada.

  • Enrolled full-time in high school (including upgrading) or an accredited post-secondary institution or training program.

How To Apply

  • Complete the online application at atcoeducationawards.smapply.ca with the required supporting documentation by the deadline.

  • Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.

Grades 10, 11 or 12

Bridging
(Adult Basic Education)

For students in an upgrading
or university preparation program

Scholarships
$1,800
For students in undergraduate
and graduate programs,
trade/community or technical college
diploma or certificate programs.
